CONSOLATION CONSTELLATION

Creating dense, melodic shoegaze colored by elements of noisepop and post-rock, the band builds its sound around Wall of Sound guitars, layered vocals and melodies that cut through the noise.

The project began as the creative vision of guitarist Marc Boggio. His previous bands include Golden State, Paloalto and AMFM, bands whose histories include work with producers Rick Rubin and John Shanks.

Boggio brought in long time friend and collaborator Paul Escalante on vocals and guitar. Escalante quickly became a huge piece of what the project was becoming and gave it the name Consolation Constellation.

The final piece arrived entirely by chance. While searching for a female vocalist and bassist, they found Lauren Davis and the chemistry was immediate. What originally began as Boggio’s personal creative project had found its identity as a three-piece.

Together, they’ve shaped their sound into something loud, atmospheric and deeply melodic, finding that perfect balance between noise and hooky melodies.
